I just started taking classes 2 weeks ago and am pretty sure I'm going to commit to about 4 times a week from here on in. My question is - What has been your most noticeable benefit from practicing Bikram and how long have you been practicing?

The biggest surprise I got is higher butt cleavage - at almost 57 O.O !!

Sat, February 2, 2008 - 9:51 PMHa, yeah, I was gonna say "my ass looks fabulous".... I think the BEST benefit, however, has been a decrease in my migraines. Working my body so hard is really good for me, and it also has chain-reaction benefits in that I drink enough water, and want to fuel my body with healthy food.

Wed, February 6, 2008 - 2:40 PMWell, the butt cleavage is a pretty good benefit, I must say. I'm on my 9th class and I feel like I have more energy lately - especially late afternoon and into the evening. I did start drinking spirilina protein drinks so that might have something to do with it, too.

Sun, February 10, 2008 - 2:47 PMi felt better and better throughout the months when i started practicing 5-7 days a week. people started commenting on my toned arms and body, and i was the lowest weight with the most muscle of my adult life. cellulite started disappearing and i my skin looked great. all this after i did it because it made me feel so good. great extras.... :) -

Thu, February 28, 2008 - 6:07 AMNow I can answer my own question :D I have been doing Bikram for a little over a month now and I already see an over all toned affect -especially my ams and waist. I had no idea it would happen so fast....but I'm not complaining!

Sun, March 2, 2008 - 5:56 AMThe things that other people noticed the most were how tiny my waist got and how my butt got higher and rounder.
The thing that I noticed the most was the improvement in my scoliosis and regaining half an inch of height of the inch I lost when it became problematic.

Fri, March 14, 2008 - 1:39 PMPATIENCE! with myself and everything around. my head isn't as scattered, consumed with thoughts, to-do lists, shoulds and woulds this way and that way. AND the body change would be my second benefit. release of old emotional and physical trauma/toxins has and still is leading to openings of a new me! sweating out the old and breathing in the new. cheers.
